If you've found yourself here, then welcome! My name is Samantha Raven, and I love books, animals, and delicious beverages. I mean, tell me something that sounds better than hanging with your pup on a beautiful spring day, sipping a delightful iced coffee, and reading a good book while the sunshine warms your skin. As an Arizona girl, I may not get to live that particular fantasy often, but it sounds like heaven to me.

If you're daydreaming about being there with me, you are in the right place! I am an avid reader and aspiring author. I am working on my first novel, but I find it hard to stay on that writing grind. So welcome to my blog, my little slice of writing peace here on the internet.

What can you expect? I am asking myself the same! There will be weekly posts with writing based on a prompt from a writers' group I'm in. You may also see sneak peeks of my WIP, book reviews, and the occasional personal post. I am not sure exactly yet, but I am excited to create my own little writing haven here.
